The 2011 Conference of the National Association for Media Literacy Education
The 2011 conference of the National Association for Media Literacy Education Registration will be held in Philadelphia, July 22-25 and will include over 150 sessions and workshops, screenings, and youth-produced video. Keynote speakers include Douglas Rushkoff, noted scholar and author of the book, Program or Be Programmed, Mohammed Bilal, Executive Producer of Media for One Economy Corporation, and Madeline Di Nonno, Executive Director of the Geena Davis Institute.
AUSSIE Digital School Solutions serves as professional development partner for NYC's Connected Learning Initiative
AUSSIE was proud to attend the launch of NYC Connected Learning, an online home learning initiative for low-income families. The NYC Connected Learning Initiative is funded by a $22 million American Recovery and Reinvestment Act award from the US Department of Commerce.
